Almond (Sweet) Oil: Prunus amygdalus dulcis

Almond Oil is extracted from the kernel. It contains Vitamins A, B1, B2 and B6, together with a high percentage of mono and polyunsaturated fatty acids. It keeps reasonably well due to a small amount of Vitamin E. Almond Oil is good in treating dry and brittle nails, protects and nourishes the skin, calming irritation caused by eczema. Almond is a popular oil and one of the least expensive used in massage. For a richer blend, it mixes well with Avocado or Jojoba.
