Herbal Incenses

Not all the natural products we supply are to be used for massage or eaten; we also stock a vast range of other goods to tantalise, refresh and invigorate your senses, including a wide variety of herbal incenses. As well as the more traditional incense sticks made with various types of gums and herbs to produce distinctive and mood-enhancing aromas, we offer other types of incense including incense grains and Native American Smudge Sticks. In addition, we also have a range of accessories for use with our herbal incenses, such as instant-lighting charcoal and incense burners.

Herbal incenses are often attributed with healing properties on a psychic level. Smudge sticks were traditionally used by Native Americans to affect both the aura and the inner being. Each type of incense is said to hold different properties: Sage was often used to ward off negative energies and influences and as part of meditative ceremonies. Today, in a similar fashion, it is used by Feng Shui practitioners as a 'space clearing' herb. Mugwort, a relative of Sage has been used to help treat everything from colds and bronchitis to stomach disorders and menstrual problems.

The most popular range of all our incense sticks is that created by Encens D'Auroville. These are made with pure essential oils rolled on bamboo sticks. Each pack contains 10 wands in a recycled cotton packet. They are available in a variety of aromas, including Gardinia, Green Apple and Honeysuckle. We also stock the Nagchampa range of incense sticks, which are a delicate of herbal incenses prepared using traditional methods.
