Soap maker extraordinaire Anne Quinn will guide you through the process of making some beautifully crafted, amazingly coloured and incredibly scented natural soaps in the lovely setting of Walworth Garden's classroom.

You will learn the basics of macerating herbal oils, blending essential oils and using waxes, butters, clays, herbs and other natural additives to create your own hand-made soaps to take home.

We'll be covering all the safety aspects of using & handling ingredients such as lye and essential oils to give you the skills & confidence to make your own soaps at home.

We'll be having a break for lunch - there are some lovely cafes in the area (The Electric Elephant at the Pullens Yard is a fine example) but you may wish to bring a packed lunch or snacks which you can enjoy in the Garden.

The maximum group size on the day will be 12
