Fushi Fresh Pressed Wild Harvested Andiroba Oil 100ml

Andiroba trees, also known by the names of Carapa and Crabwood, populate the tropical rainforests of the South and Central Americas. One of the most common medicinal oils in the Amazon is pressed from the light brown Andiroba seeds.

Amazonian locals traditionally have used the oil as an insect repellent and to help relieve the pain of pulled muscles. The Brazilian football team are known to use Andiroba oil after every match to aid muscle recovery.

Andiroba oil has vulnerary (helps to aid the healing of wounds) and antibacterial properties, promotes skin healing, and prevents wounds, cuts and scrapes getting infected. It has soothing properties for irritated skin from burns and sunburn, while also relieving from pain, swelling and itchiness.

It is also great for calming acne and smoothing pimples by reducing inflammation and preventing bacterial infections. At the same time, it replenishes dry skin which further can prevent excessive oil production.

Andiroba oil is also known to be great for dry curly and Afro-Caribbean hair. It deeply moisturises without leaving hair greasy.

Directions for use:

For External Use Only. Massage gently in circular movements until absorbed. For deep moisturisation apply to damp skin. Also ideal for the face and hair. Best to warm up before applying to hair.

Storage

Store in a cool dark place. Oil should be used within 12 months once it has been opened.
