Great for using in cavities, just wash \u003cbr\u003e\naway with saline solution.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eUse\u003cbr\u003e\nTwist off cap, apply liberally to the wound bed to a minimum depth of 5mm and cover with an appropriate secondary dressing. \u003cbr\u003e\nActivon Tube is a single patient use only product, once opened use within 90 days.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eInitially you may experience high levels of exudate, this is perfectly normal and will decrease over time, therefore your secondary dressing of choice may initially need to \u003cbr\u003e\nbe super absorbent, we recommend Eclypse.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eTop tip\u003cbr\u003e\nUse Activon Tube in conjunction with Algivon for debriding and de-sloughing.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eIndications\u003cbr\u003e\nActivon Tube is ideal for debriding necrotic tissue; it's ideal for topping up dressings where the honey is washed away or great for using directly into cavities. Honey can \u003cbr\u003e\nbe washed away using normal saline solution. As honey is a natural product any remaining honey will not have any adverse effects.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eActivon Tube may be applied to any wound but especially: Pressure ulcers, leg ulcers, diabetic ulcers, surgical wounds, burns, graft sites, infected wounds, cavity wounds and sinuses\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eContra-indications\u003cbr\u003e\nAlthough the honey is not absorbed into the blood stream, we advise monitoring the levels of patients with diabetes.
