It has a high content of polyunsaturates and contains a large proportion of linoleic acid. It is rich in gamma-linolenic acid (average 7.1%), said to reduce blood cholesterol. Evening Primrose can be used to soothe many skin problems such as rashes, dry skin, eczema and psoriasis. Use this oil on its own or, if preferred, blend with another oil such as Jojoba.
