HERB SHOP VACANCY
We are seeking an industrious professional to join our Herb Shop team in a part-time role, working two days a week on Friday and Saturday.
The main duties include (but are not limited to):
- Serving customers
- Picking goods for mail order orders
- Lifting and carrying is involved daily in this role
We are looking for an individual who must have the following qualities to complement our small team:
- Excellent communication skills
- Excellent attention to detail and the ability to work productively in any situation
- A personable demeanour and a positive can-do attitude
- Ability to prioritise your workload and use your own initiative
- Ability to multi-task
- Excellent punctuality and attendance
- Previous experience with retail work
A knowledge of, or interest in, alternative healthcare, aromatherapy, natural products, and health food is preferable but not essential.
Job type: Part-time – 15 hours per week
Hours: Friday and Saturday either 9am–5.30pm or 9.30am–6.00pm
Salary: £13.85 per hour (£10,803 per annum). We are a London Living Wage employer.
Plus: 25% staff discount.
Employment will be on a month-to-month trial basis for three months, leading on to a permanent contract.
