In 1510, Bénédictine liqueur was created by monks, and Angelica seed is one of the twelve botanicals involved. This is one of the world's oldest continuously-produced preparations out there.
Health perks:
Angelica seeds can also be taken post meals that can feel heavy) or taken with a 'cuppa'. The seeds have carminative herbal action, which is appeasing for the digestive process, especially of there is discomfort, bloating, gas or cramping. They stimulate digestive and bile secretions, which are important for optimal digestion and assimilation. Angelica seeds can also be used for dyspepsia, nausea and infants with colic.
The volatile oils of Angelica seeds promote action againt respiratory pathogens. In traditional European herbalism, the seeds are used to resolve the left-over mucus you can still feel lingering after an acute illness.
The seed tonifies and warms a depleted nervous system, a tonic for adrenal exhaustion.
Angelica seeds can also be used to target a broad spectrum of bacteria and fungi, and this is due to the phthalide and coumarin compounds. This helps to address chronic and recurrent infection. With regards to this value, Angelica seeds make a great preservative for herbal wines and elixirs.

- Express orders must be placed before 1pm on any weekday
- Orders placed after 1pm on Thursday will be delivered by 1pm on the following Monday
- There must be someone available to sign for receive the package between 7am 1pm on the day of delivery

Returns
Here at Baldwins it is our policy to give 100% satisfaction. We do know however, that there may be the odd occasion when you wish to return items. Below you will find an outline of our returns policy.
28 Day No-Quibble Guarantee
If, for any reason, you are unhappy with an item you have received, you may return it within 28 days, unopened and in its original condition, to our Freepost address (below). Upon receipt, we will be happy to give you a full refundfor the item.
Alternatively, you may wish to exchange the item for another. Please note that post and packing costs are non-refundable.
Returning An Item
To return an item, please package in its original wrapping (if possible) and provide a note outlining your name, address, order number and reason for returning.
If your item is under 20 Kg and is smaller than 61cm (L) x 46cm (W) x 46cm (D) then you can use our Free Royal Mail 48 Hour Tracked service by heading here and filling in the appropriate details:

This service will generate a label that you can either print at home or take with you to the post office for them to print.
You will need your order number which is the 6 digit number sent out on your order dispatch email. (If you have any trouble finding this, do give us a call and we can happily find it for you).
Once orders are returned, we aim to process them within 72 hours and (if required) notify you by mail when we have processed your refund and ship any replacements out as soon as possible.
If your item is over 20 Kg or larger than the specified size (or too heavy for you to take to the post office) please call us and we can arrange collection with one of our courier partners.
