Native to the vast flood basin of the Amazon rainforest, Camu-Camu is a small tree that produces fruit the size of cherries containing the highest concentration of vitamin C of any food. Camu-Camu contains over twice the levels of vitamin C as the Acerola Cherry (a more famous Amazonian fruit) and thirty times the level found in Oranges.
The key advantage from taking a natural Vitamin C supplement such as Camu-Camu is that it is gentle on the stomach, and easier to assimilate in the body than synthesised vitamin C. Rio Amazon Camu-Camu capsules provide an average of around 100mg of Vitamin C per capsule in a highly ‘bio-available’ form.
In addition, Camu-Camu is a source of ‘gentle’ iron, phosphorous, potassium, vitamins B2, B3, beta-carotene and other carotenoids. It also contains amino acids, bio-flavonoids, anthocyanins and other nutrients that help with the absorption of the vitamin C in the body.
Usage
2 capsules per day before food, or as recommended by your practitioner. The maximum recommended daily dosage (10 capsules) contains 5g Camu-Camu 8:1 extract - equivalent to 40g Camu-Camu fruit powder.
Ingredients
Camu-Camu (Myrciaria dubia) 8:1 extract, maltodextrin (a complex carbohydrate, from corn). Capsule shell: vegetable cellulose. Suitable for vegetarians and vegans.

Here at Baldwins it is our policy to give 100% satisfaction. We do know however, that there may be the odd occasion when you wish to return items. Below you will find an outline of our returns policy.

If, for any reason, you are unhappy with an item you have received, you may return it within 28 days, unopened and in its original condition, to our Freepost address (below). Upon receipt, we will be happy to give you a full refundfor the item.
Alternatively, you may wish to exchange the item for another. Please note that post and packing costs are non-refundable.
Returning An Item
To return an item, please package in its original wrapping (if possible) and provide a note outlining your name, address, order number and reason for returning.

This service will generate a label that you can either print at home or take with you to the post office for them to print.
You will need your order number which is the 6 digit number sent out on your order dispatch email. (If you have any trouble finding this, do give us a call and we can happily find it for you).
Once orders are returned, we aim to process them within 72 hours and (if required) notify you by mail when we have processed your refund and ship any replacements out as soon as possible.
If your item is over 20 Kg or larger than the specified size (or too heavy for you to take to the post office) please call us and we can arrange collection with one of our courier partners.
