(Oenocarpus Bataua)
This oil is extracted from the nut of the American Palm Tree. It is traditionally used by the indigenous community, particularly the Miskito Tribe (also known as ‘’the people of beautiful hair’’) in Honduras – where it is used as a holistic treatment for hair and skincare.
This oil contains high concentration of minerals and vitamins, including vitamin E and vitamin A – both of which nourishes the scalp and hair follicles, and promote and increase hair growth, as well as preventing hair loss.
Batana also contains Omega 6 & 9 fatty acids that help improve blood circulation to the scalp and ultimately enhancing hair growth. It helps to maintain moisture balance of the scalp as it penetrates, nourish and strengthen hair shaft which leads to less breakage and split ends and a luxurious shine.
Batana is not only limited to hair, it is also great for the skin as it possesses naturally anti-aging properties. This helps to combat free radical damage – which often leads to premature aging of the skin.
It is also great for those with sensitive skin as it repairs skin by healing and soothing damaged or irritated skin. It also removes blemishes and dark spots.
It promotes cell regeneration and improves skin elasticity – which ultimately helps to reduce fine lines and wrinkles, as well as maintaining a youthful complexion and a radiant and a healthy glow

Express Delivery (UK)
- Express orders must be placed before 1pm on any weekday
- Orders placed after 1pm on Thursday will be delivered by 1pm on the following Monday
- There must be someone available to sign for receive the package between 7am 1pm on the day of delivery

Returns
Here at Baldwins it is our policy to give 100% satisfaction. We do know however, that there may be the odd occasion when you wish to return items. Below you will find an outline of our returns policy.
28 Day No-Quibble Guarantee
If, for any reason, you are unhappy with an item you have received, you may return it within 28 days, unopened and in its original condition, to our Freepost address (below). Upon receipt, we will be happy to give you a full refundfor the item.
Alternatively, you may wish to exchange the item for another. Please note that post and packing costs are non-refundable.
Returning An Item
To return an item, please package in its original wrapping (if possible) and provide a note outlining your name, address, order number and reason for returning.
If your item is under 20 Kg and is smaller than 61cm (L) x 46cm (W) x 46cm (D) then you can use our Free Royal Mail 48 Hour Tracked service by heading here and filling in the appropriate details:

This service will generate a label that you can either print at home or take with you to the post office for them to print.
You will need your order number which is the 6 digit number sent out on your order dispatch email. (If you have any trouble finding this, do give us a call and we can happily find it for you).
Once orders are returned, we aim to process them within 72 hours and (if required) notify you by mail when we have processed your refund and ship any replacements out as soon as possible.
If your item is over 20 Kg or larger than the specified size (or too heavy for you to take to the post office) please call us and we can arrange collection with one of our courier partners.
