Sweet Violet is one of the most popular of all the varieties of the Violet species.

This herb is a gentle expectorant and demulcent that calms and emolliates inflamed respiratory tissues while aiding mucus clearance.
A widely-used lymphatic tonic which helps reduce stagnation, swellings and cystic conditions by decongesting and encouraging lymph flow.
Violet leaves prove useful to irritated and sensitive skin conditions, such as eczema and psoriasis, even rashes. This is due to the herb's inflammatory-relieving and cooling properties.
This herb is traditionally prescribed to individuals with conditions relating to heat, dryness and stagnant flow. Violet leaves usually addresses these varied expressions seen from compromised lymph, lungs and skin, in particular.
