Organic Lion’s Mane (Hericium erinaceus)
This mushroom is one of the most exciting of the new mushrooms. It contains beta glucan polysaccharides, along with polypeptides and fatty acids that help modulate the immune system, boosting white blood cell count to help the healing process. However, the most stimulating area of interest is its ability to help combat some of the symptoms and underlying causes of dementia and Alzheimer's disease as well as other peripheral neurological dysfunction’s.
From an anti-ageing perspective, Lion’s Mane, due to its low molecular weight, has been shown to pass through the bood/brain barrier and to;
-Induce synthesis of NGF (Nerve Growth Factor)
-Prevent nerve cell death
-Promote myelination (re-growth of myelin sheath around nerve fibre)
-Stimulate neurite outgrowth (neurite - immature neuron in the growth process)

The mushroom biomass we use to manufacture MycoNutri Hericium erinaceus capsules is grown for us in the USA on sterile grain-based substrate in an FDA regulated facility.
The biomass contains the full spectrum of active metabolites from the mycelium and young fruiting body of the mushroom, including beta-glucans, other intra- and extra-cellular polysaccharides, phytosterols (including ergosterol – provitamin D2), proteoglycans and diterpenoid cyathane derivatives (especially erinacines).
We then blend it with cultured Lion’s Mane fruiting body rich in hericinones in order to capture the full spectrum of this remarkable mushroom.

If, for any reason, you are unhappy with an item you have received, you may return it within 28 days, unopened and in its original condition, to our Freepost address (below). Upon receipt, we will be happy to give you a full refundfor the item.
Alternatively, you may wish to exchange the item for another. Please note that post and packing costs are non-refundable.
Returning An Item
To return an item, please package in its original wrapping (if possible) and provide a note outlining your name, address, order number and reason for returning.

This service will generate a label that you can either print at home or take with you to the post office for them to print.
You will need your order number which is the 6 digit number sent out on your order dispatch email. (If you have any trouble finding this, do give us a call and we can happily find it for you).
Once orders are returned, we aim to process them within 72 hours and (if required) notify you by mail when we have processed your refund and ship any replacements out as soon as possible.
If your item is over 20 Kg or larger than the specified size (or too heavy for you to take to the post office) please call us and we can arrange collection with one of our courier partners.
