For a long time within Ayurvedic medicine, Oatstraw has been praised for its ability to help with opium withdrawal and even tobacco.

Traditionally, Oatstraw is a nourishing nervine tonic. It eases anxiety, reduces stress in the body, and promotes calmness without the sedative effect. As per some studies, Oatstraw may help to reduce the level of cytokines associated to the manifestation of depression. Therefore supporting mood and emotional balance.

Abundant in the mineral silicon, Oatstraw supports the health of skin, hair, nails and bone tissure. In addition, Oatstraw provides magnesium; an essential electrolyte and mineral involved in cellular reactions, and the productionn of melatonin; the hormone required for quality sleep.

As a natural source of calcium, the herb contributes to the structural health of bones and teeth.
