Mail Order - Full-Time

We are seeking a hard-working professional to join our mail order team in a full-time role Monday - Friday.

Through our website and over the phone, we receive, process and ship between four and five thousand orders per month so a proactive attitude and high levels of accuracy and an extremely high standard of customer service is essential.

The main duties include (but aren’t limited to):

  • Taking orders by phone and e-mail.
  • Answering customer queries (phone and e-mail).
  • Checking, processing, and shipping customer orders.
  • Tracking shipments and solving customer delivery issues.
  • Dealing with out-of-stock items and processing refunds.
  • Dealing with complaints and problems with the goal of customer retention.
  • Ad-hoc duties as required.
  • Lifting and carrying is involved daily in this role.

We work together closely in our office and are looking for an individual who must have the following qualities to complement our small team:

  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and the ability to work productively in any situation.
  • A personable demeanour and a positive can-do attitude.
  • Ability to prioritise your workload and use your own initiative.
  • Ability to multi-task.
  • Excellent punctuality and attendance.
  • Previous experience with ecommerce platforms and ordering software.

 

Full training will be given on the use of our Ordering Software (Khaos control) and other tools necessary for order processing but experience with any logistics and ordering software, ERP, CRM AND CMS systems is desirable.

A knowledge of, or interest in, alternative healthcare, aromatherapy, natural products, health food is preferable but not essential.

Job type: Full-time -37.5 hours per week

Hours: Monday-Friday 9am -5.30pm

Staff cover one late week every five weeks- 9.30am – 6pm Mon-Fri with a late opening on Thursday of 10.30am – 7pm.

Late Saturday opening occurs every 3 weeks 9.30am – 6pm.

Salary £11.20 per hour. £21,840 per annum

21 days annual leave (we also close for Christmas between 24th December and 2nd January)

London Living Wage employer

 

Employment will be on a month to month trial basis for three months. Leading on to a permanent contract.

Shop Assistant - Part Time

We are seeking an industrious professional to join our Herb Shop team in a part time role, working two days a week, Saturday and Monday.

The main duties include (but are not limited to):

  • Serving Customers
  • Picking Goods for Mail Orders
  • Lifting and carrying is involved daily in this role.

We are looking for an individual who must have the following qualities to complement our small team:

  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and the ability to work productively in any situation.
  • A personable demeanour and a positive can-do attitude.
  • Ability to prioritise your workload and use your own initiative.
  • Ability to multi-task.
  • Excellent punctuality and attendance.
  • Previous experience with retail work.

A knowledge of, or interest in, alternative healthcare, aromatherapy, natural products, health food is preferable but not essential.

Job type: Part-time - 15 hours per week

Hours: Saturday and Monday either 9am -5.30pm or 9.30am-6.00pm 

Salary £10.85 per hour. £8,252.40 per annum
