A far more natural way to get yourself back to Simon Cowell-level luminescence is to use this handy little recipe. Because sodium bicarbonate is mildly abrasive, it gently scrubs away surface stains to return your teeth to a whiter shade, while the lemon acts as a mild natural bleach.

Instructions:

1. Mix 1tbsp. of Bob’s Red Mill Pure Baking Soda with the juice of 2 lemons to make a paste.

2. Wipe your teeth, getting any extra saliva off of them with a paper towel.

3. Put a good amount of paste onto your toothbrush and apply.
