If you’ve got your preferred essential oils and you can find the appropriate recipes or bases, then you can make any kind of bathroom product:

Homemade shampoo: How to add essential oils to base products
- For creams and lotions, use 10ml (2%) of essential oil for every 500ml of base product.
- For shampoos and conditioners: use 10ml (2%) of essential oil for every 500ml of base product.
- For soaps, use 15ml (3%) of essential oil per 500ml of base soap.
Can I use base products alone without essential oils?
Yes, many carrier oils, butters, and waxes are perfectly suitable for using alone as moisturisers, bath products, or other cosmetic purposes without added essential oils.
