The task of carrying life and birthing it into the world can take quite a toll on the postnatal state, both physically and mentally.

Postnatal Boost blend does just as it says. It contains essential vitamins and minerals to lift and support your bodies as well as promote healing, hormonal balance and the reduction of stress.

Ingredients

Hibiscus Sabdariffa (sorrel) helps during instances of mental and physical fatigue, supports intestinal health, circulation and overcoming stress.

Raspberry leaf contains the alkaloid, fragrine, which can help strengthen the uterus and the pelvic area in preparation for labour. The red compounds in its leaves are also high in antioxidants, anti-inflammatory and have immune system boosting properties.

Tulsi (Holy Basil) is a wonder herb. It’s adaptogenic which helps to balance hormones and lower stress levels. It’s a good source of vitamin K which is great for clot formation following bleeding (labour) and is commonly used for wound healing.

Stinging nettle has a rich iron-rich content and is traditionally used to fight postpartum fatigue by building up the blood supply.

BREWING INSTRUCTIONS

Infuse one heaped teaspoon per cup in freshly boiled water, for 5-10 mins depending on taste. Strain and serve. Herbs brewed for a shorter amount of time (5 mins) can be brewed twice before discarding.
