How do you use flower essences?
There are two popular ways to use flower essences that we recommend. Firstly, dilute them with water and add to a spray bottle. You can then use this to mist a room or yourself with the solution, letting the essence gently get to work. Likewise, you could spray your clothes with it so that it works throughout the day or give your pillow a light spritz before going to sleep at night.
Alternatively, simply place a few drops of the essence directly under the tongue. 4 drops, 4 times a day is a good place to start. However, if that doesn’t feel like enough we recommend using the essences more often, not increasing the number of drops.
How long does it take for flower essences to work?
The time taken for flower essences to take effect varies depending on the essence and what it is being used for. They can range from getting to work immediately, to unfolding over the course of a few days or even weeks, gradually revealing their nature layer by subtle layer.
How is aromatherapy used?
There’s a whole bunch of ways in which you can use aromatherapy, including bathing salts, diffusers, clay masks, inhalers, aromatic spritzers and more.
Essential oils can be used one at a time to treat specific ailments or combined into synergistic blends to multiply the health benefits.
What is an antioxidant and why is it important?
An antioxidant is a compound that helps to inhibit the oxidation of our cells, a process which can promote the production of free radicals, which in turn can lead to a chain reaction of damage on a cellular level. The presence of antioxidants within our systems terminates these chain reactions.
Antioxidants are important factors in the prevention of cancer, heart disease, and other conditions.
