Losing Weight the Vegan Way
Body confidence is a wonderful thing, and something we’re thankfully recognising more as a society. That said, there’s nothing wrong with wanting to shed a few pounds here and there.

Keep it Simple
There’s one elementary rule to losing weight, which is vastly superior to any dieting fad that’s ever existed. The idea is so simple, so obvious, that it’s a great mantra to keep in mind during your weight-loss journey, and it’s worth reiterating here:
Move more. Eat Less.
In fact, if we’re being precise about it, it’s this: ‘Move more than you eat.’
While this sounds startlingly obvious, it’s the most basic tenet of losing weight. You need to burn more calories than you consume.
Your body will burn on average 2000 calories per day without any exercise, but if you eat and drink more than that amount, you’ll put on weight. If you consume less than that amount you’ll lose weight.
However, if you regularly both consume less than that amount as well as exercising, your body will be in a greater calorie deficit, leading to a higher level of weight loss. Of course, you need to be careful that you’re still taking in enough calories to keep healthy.
Luckily, there are also a few vegan-friendly aids to help you get to your desired weight in a totally natural way.
Spiced Lemon Juice
If you’re living a full and hectic life, but want to supplement your exercise and diet regime with a little something to help along the way, it may be worth making some spiced lemon juice.
